The damage output from this build is almost like being a rogue in plate mail.
I had tried a build of fury,arms, and mostly protection but it doesnt do enough
damage( I had this spec somewhat before and went back to it). With this build my
executes are critting for 1600 damage with a 1hand mace. Non crit ones are
around 450-900 damage.
Arms Talents (21 points)
# Deflection - 5/5 points
Increases your Parry chance by 5%.
# Improved Rend - 3/3 points
Increases the bleed damage done by your Rend ability by 35%.
# Tactical Mastery - 5/5 points
You retain up to 25 of your rage points when you change stances. - every warrior
has to have this talent or you are a gimp
# Anger Management - 1/1 point
Increases the time required for your Rage to decay while out of combat by 30%. -
another must have
# Improved Overpower - 2/2 points
Increases the critical strike chance of your Overpower ability by 50%. - this
tears up rogues.
# Deep Wounds - 3/3 points
Your critical strikes cause the opponent to bleed, dealing 60% of your melee
weapon's average damage over 12 seconds. - free DOT
# Impale - 2/2 points
Increases the critical strike damage done by your abilities in Battle,
Defensive, and Berserker stance by 20%. - This talent ties in with enrage wich
gives you a 40% damage increase for 4 swings.
Fury Talents (30 points)
# Cruelty - 5/5 points
Increases your chance to get a critical strike with melee weapons by 5%.
# Improved Demoralizing Shout - 5/5 points
Increases the attack power reduction of your Demoralizing Shout by 25%. - always
use this in everyfight.
# Piercing Howl - 1/1 point
Causes all enemies near the warrior to be dazed for 6 seconds. - better than
hamstring, instant cast 10 rage cost., no cool down.
# Improved Battle Shout - 5/5 points
Increases the Attack Power bonus of your Battle Shout by 25%. - more dps
# Enrage - 5/5 points
Gives you a 40% melee damage bonus for 4 swings any time you are the victim of a
critical strike. - for some reason this talent is overlooked. I have critted for
900+ damage with heroic strike using this talent, on a 2h, with a 1h i think the
highest is around 400-600.
# Improved Execute - 2/2 points
Reduces the Rage cost of your Execute ability by 5. - I feel this is better than
mortale strike, its great in pvp and also good for finishing off elites. When im
tanking and the mob is at 40% health or so i switch to beserker stance and then
use execute, regular damage is 450-900 at level 50 with 1500+ crits on a 1hand
mace.
# Improved Intercept - 2/2 points
Reduces the cooldown of your Intercept ability by 10 seconds. - the best for
chasing down people that try and kite you in pvp.
# Flurry - 5/5 points
Increases your attack speed by 30% for your next 3 swings after dealing a
critical strike. - this i dont have yet but will have at level 60 i also plan to
get items that give me an increased chance to crit. The more you crit the faster
you attack.
If you dont wan to get flurry thats 6 points you can put in arms if you want,
but i think the 30% increase on speed is a winner. I am equal vs a pally with
this build at level 50, this is with the pally healing to full life 2 times and
me using a bandaid when he shields. I have been using duel wield while tanking
also. The DPS i feel is better than a 1hand weapon. Also use a Offhand weapon
with a proc on it like a chance to cast a fireball, preferably 1.9-2.2 speed, as
the proc will still cast even if you miss. For main hand try and keep it around
2.5-2.7spd with a max damage of over 115 or so.
